Automation Builder - Fixes & Improvements

This release focuses on enhancing the efficiency, stability, and user experience of the Automation Builder and the platform's core orchestration engine. We have upgraded key document processing nodes to support Bulk Document Processing, significantly reducing flow complexity and improving cycle times for high-volume batches, while also implementing Safety Checks to prevent data loss, optimizing user management synchronization, and refining the interface for a cleaner, more reliable operation.

Bulk Document Processing in Automation Builder

We have upgraded key document processing nodes to accept multiple files simultaneously, significantly reducing the complexity of flows involving large batches of documents.

  • Impact: Simplifies flow design and improves efficiency for high-volume document processes.
  • Applicable Nodes: PDF Conversion, Document Extraction, Classification, and Splitting nodes.

General Platform & UI Improvements

  • Core Engine Upgrade: The platform's core orchestration engine has been upgraded to support the latest automation standards, boosting overall platform stability and performance.
  • Automation Builder Safety Check: To prevent accidental data loss, the Automation Builder will now alert you if you attempt to navigate away from a workflow that contains unsaved changes.
  • Cleaner Audit Trails: The default system administrator user is now hidden from the Version History view to keep audit trails focused on actual user activity.
  • Improved User Management: Enhanced handling for users with long names and fixed an issue where creating already existing users caused errors.
  • System Synchronization: Improved the synchronization of user creation and deletion events between our authentication system and the builder.
  • UI Polish: General interface refinements, including the removal of legacy branding elements.
